Last week’s first annual Haw Creek Elementary Kindergarten Camp was a huge success.
Upcoming kindergarten students came out to see what school is all about. This helps the students feel more acclimated and make new friends before the first day of school. Teachers say this is a wonderful opportunity for students.
“Kindergarten is so special for many students as it provides ample learning opportunities,” said kindergarten teacher Jennifer Griffin. “As a kindergarten team we are so excited to meet our new students and give them a joyful school experience that will create a life-long love of learning.”
