Battle of The Books

The Haw Creek Elementary Battle of the Books is made up of two teams. A third grade team and a fourth and fifth grade team. The fourth and fifth grade team are the only grades who officially compete but third grade practices and competes unofficially at the competition. The third grade team does not read the whole EBOB list. 

The fourth and fifth grade team reads fifteen books during the year and then battles other schools by answering questions about the books. To learn more about it visit the Battle of the Books website at http://www.ncslma.org/ebob
