Our school library media center provides students and staff access to a variety of resources including books, online databases, computer programs, puzzles, games, and much more. These resources support student learning and offer a variety of learning experiences. A full time certified librarian is available to assist students with selecting materials they need to best answer their questions and to guide them in book selection.
Another primary focus of media classes is to encourage student love of reading. Regular read-alouds are a great way to introduce students to new genres and authors. Students are taught how to and encouraged to find books of interest in the library collection.
