Note to Parents

 Note to Parents

It is my belief that we are working together as partners in the education of your child.  You will receive progress reports on your child's IEP goals from me every 9 weeks with his/her regular report card.  I welcome open lines of communication and encourage you to feel free to contact me any time you have questions, concerns, or wish to share in the success of your child as I plan to do the same.  Of course, you can always call me through the school, but email is the best way to get in contact with me.

Behavior Plan

My behavior plan for the class is as follows:
Each child has an index card put up on the board.  The students receive a sticker/stamp at the end of each session with me.  We discuss how many total stickers he/she will need to earn.  We decide on a number together, and this number is written on the index card so he/she has a visual cue of his/her goal.  When a student is off-task or misbehaves, his/her name will go on the whiteboard with a tally.
1 tally    =  Warning
2 tallies  =  Warning
3 tallies  =  No sticker/stamp
4 tallies =   Phone call home
5 tallies =   Referral, lunch detention
Earning goal number of stickers = Visit to the PRIZE BOX!
