Mrs. Childers and Mrs. Millers Monthly Newsletter

November 2018

October was an exciting month in Kindergarten!  We learned about ocean life, apples, and bats.  I hope you enjoyed all the hard work your children have brought home.  Please ask them to read their writing, talk to them about the science we have learned, and ask about their math problems.  Our students are very proud of their work and love to show it off!

This month we will study spiders, leaves, Native Americans/Pilgrims and other holiday activities.  You may have noticed that all of our units are totally integrated with math, science, social studies, and language arts.

Remember to check your child’s folder everyday, remove all papers and work, and initial.  It is important to praise your child for good behavior (green) and use appropriate discipline for disruptive behavior (yellow).

*Continue to review letters, sounds and words in the Skills Folder everyday.
