Hello! My name is Valerie Brown. I am so excited to be at Haw Creek! This will be my sixth year teaching, but my first year in first grade. I spent my first five years teaching at Avery's Creek Elementary. While I was there, I taught second grade and third grade, but I have ALWAYS wanted to teach first!
The past two years I was a stay-at-home mom to my two darling little boys. Now that I am back in the classroom, my goal is to always be the teacher that I would want my own children to have.
We are going to have an amazing year!
